I love the Salvadoreno Restaurant chain here in the Phoenix area. This is the 3rd location I have been to here and they have tasted amazing across the board. We fell in love with Pupusas at a place in another state but these have been the best we have had so far!

Pupusas are super yummy and $2.85 for one! I personally think the mixed ones~ pork, cheese, and beans! Very friendly staff and a good place to practice some Spanish if you know any as well. The pupusas take a bit of time to prepare, but come out very warm and are worth the wait.

Found this place on yelp. My friend who is originally from Honduras said this place has authentic food from her hometown. So we came here for dinner. It was not busy during peak hours.
The menu had a lot of options that looked so good! But our tummy is too small to eat so much food. So we decided to get the Sampler which includes each of everything. Awesome! (Look at the picture!) All that food cost $17! It included 2 pupusas, 1 tamal, fried yuca, fried pork pieces, empanadas, plantain empanada dessert, and plantain chips (tostones). My friend and I shared this and we were full, as well as had leftover. Love the fried yucca. Flavor was well seasoned. Food was cooked just right, no burnt food. I don't think I'll ever get this kind of food in Hawaii...sadly.
One thing I am not satisfied here is the service. The workers here are rude and not attentive. When we walked in the workers stared at us. There was no greeting and didn't even seat us. WTH! This man fixing the ceiling lights saw us and seated us. Maybe he works there? But people there are unprofessional. No check up or water refill. Water tasted horrible btw. Blehhh, tasted like it was right from the faucet sink. When we were done, they didn't even bother to come to get our check. We had to go up to ask for it as well as ask for containers. Service is horrible!!! This is like serve yourself... Sad that food is soo good but service is negative! -

A friend told me about this place and how much she loved it. She had told me it was an authentic Salvadorean restaurant and that she had observed the pupusas being made from scratch.
Once I tried them, I fell in love and have gone back several times. I prefer the pork and cheese pupusas. I like to get a side of beans and crema and dip the pupusas in them.
I typically order food to go. I ate inside the restaurant once. It was quiet with only 1 other table filled but the staff is very friendly.
****For the owner and anyone wanting to place an order to go: I tried ordering on a few different food sites, I think it was uber eats and door dash. When you choose the combo, it forces you to choose 3 different kinds of pupusas when I would like to get all 3 the same. Because of this, I have had to call in my orders. Which is fine if you are able to go and pick up your food. It would be helpful to adjust the options on those food apps.
Can't wait to get some more pupusas soon! :) -

Very disappointed in my burnt pupusa, it was very devastating to receive this type of service. There was obviously no attention to food expedited because how can you send out your food burnt and not expect a complaint. The customer service was also very terrible, I have nothing but a bad experience.
